Ways we serve you..

The Montgomery County Office of Children & Youth, under Pennsylvania law, is mandated to investigate all reports of suspected abuse, neglect  or dependency of children from birth to age 18 in Montgomery County. Our professional staff investigate reports made to our office and work with families, when appropriate, to address conditions which adversely affect a child’s care. Our staff work with families directly and also coordinate services with community resources to improve family conditions. In-home Services, Placement Services and Adoption Services are integral to our child protective service function.

Department News

	October 25, 2009 - Biker’s Against Child Abuse (BACA) sponsored fifty (50) foster children at the Freddy Hill Farms Fall Fest this year.
	October 17, 2009 - Biker’s Against Child Abuse (BACA) held their 6th Annual Holiday Bike Run to benefit abused and neglected children in Montgomery County.
	October 7, 2009 - Nineteen (19) Montgomery County Office of Children & Youth employees reached milestone service anniversary dates with the County and were recognized by the Montgomery County Commissioners
